Progressively Transformed
Welcome! My name is Eleasha Walker, and I am a Christian Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals and couples find healing, hope, and restoration through compassionate, evidence-based care rooted in biblical principles. Originally from Texas, I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University and have proudly called California home since 2015. Whether you're navigating personal challenges, relationship struggles, or seeking to strengthen your emotional and spiritual well-being, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
My therapeutic approach combines evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with mindfulness-based practices to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. For those seeking Christian counseling, I integrate Scripture, prayer, and biblical wisdom into the therapeutic process. I believe true healing encompasses the mind, heart, and spirit, and I am committed to helping you find renewed hope, emotional wellness, and lasting peace as you move toward healing and restoration.
FAQ
1. Do I have to be a Christian to work with you?
No, you do not have to be Christian to work with me. As a clinically trained therapist under the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, my commitment to you is to be ethically responsible to the public regarding their own beliefs and journey with spirituality.
2. Will every session automatically include prayer or Scripture?
No. You must explicitly request prayer and the use of Scripture in your sessions. If you request faith-based, Christian-informed sessions, including the request for prayer, I will always ask if we can pray at the beginning and also at the end of our sessions.
